Ah nature, the mother of earth :) erm sorry wrong article... Well the guys of
Nature have been rather discreet over the last years except for Rubbin Rubber,
an outrunlike game on Falcon as well as many other games projects that have -
unfortunately - never made it to full completion :( So what's up ?

Hi ! How do you feel today ?
Very well, thank you!

How did you choose your nickname (what is the story about it) ?
I had no ideas myself, so I opened a random page in the "Modern Atari system
software" manual, and pointed my finger. It landed on the word DSPInStream(), a
system call for programming on the falcon. So i choose InSTream as my nickname.

Your friends say you are a sex machine, so describe yourself ...
No I'm really not... :) But seriously... I'm 23 years old, currently a
student at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a person I try to
be kind to people, honest, helpful and so on. Hope that's enough.

How long have you been in the computer world ? tell us about your first
experience with a computer ...
My first computer was an Atari 520 STFM, which me and my brother got for
Christmas 1989. In november 1993 we got a Falcon instead.

What is your current Atari set-up ?
I have two Falcons, one 1040STFM and a Jaguar. One of the Falcons is in a
tower and has a CT2 rev A in it, with 32 MB TTRAM. The other one is a normal
Falcon. Both have 14 MB STRAM. The ST and Jaguar are rarely being used.

How do you use your machine and what tools do you use ?
I'm a programmer, and I use Devpac mostly, but for some projects I use Pure
C too.

What are your latest release(s) ? Any projects for this year ?
Two years ago my brother and I released a preview of our game Reeking Rubber,
which is a Lotus clone for the Falcon, but with textures on the road,
running in high colour. Since then we haven't done much on it, but about a
week ago we got two encouraging emails at the same time. They wanted us to
finish RR, so we have started looking at it again. There is really mostly
graphics to be done on it, before releasing another version, but also some
bugfixes, and new parts we want to add. But we can't promise anything,
since school starts again soon.

Do you have any funny stories about a coding party ?
I haven't been at so many parties, EIL 1 and 2 are the only ones abroad.
I'm not so good at telling stories, so I think I won't try... :)

Let's say you're plenty of money, which accelerating cards would you choose
and why ?
I will get a CT60 when it's done. The Tempest accelerator is really
interesting too, but I haven't heard anything from its creator in a while
now, sadly. I have two Falcons, so maybe I will get both accelerators.

Now you are a fairy, your dream machine consists of...
Maybe a Falcon compatible computer with a PPC 7400 (G4) at 500 MHz.

Your fave demos, games ... on our systems ?
Games: Ishar 1,2,3; Supremacy; Turrican 2; Supercars 2
Demos: Soluminesenz (don't remember the spelling... :)) is a good one.
Most of the other ones are good too.

Are you a player ? (video systems, fave games, worst ones ...)
No, not really. Nowadays I program mostly.

Do you have any hobbies ?
Yes, my computer... :)

Some people say that computer freaks don't have a social life. Any reactions ?
Sure we do, at least I.

Do you want to shout out anything to people saying that you are an ATARI
lamer ?
Well, if you mean PC lamers, I have grown tired of discussing with
them, because they won't understand why an Atari is good until they have
used it for a long time anyway.

Are you able to sum up your life in a word ?
Hope not..... :)

Thanx for having answered and keep on the good work.
Thank you too.
